Ginabot is basically the Visayan version of the chicharon bulaklak. This dish is made from pig intestines, which is salted, dried and then deep-fried so that it becomes the crispy flower-shaped finger food.
This dish is considered as one of the best-tasting street foods in Cebu and even those who can afford to eat at fancy restaurants have learned to crave for it.

HUMBA

Humba is an interesting dish. This slow braised pork belly is coated in a sweet glaze of panocha or palm sugar and given depth of flavor with the addition of soy sauce, salted black beans, and star anise.

Lechon

Lechon, or litson in Filipino (or, I suppose, in any Philippine dialect) is basically a roasted pig. The skin of a perfect lechon is crispy, yet it melts in your mouth after the initial bite. The better part is the belly, where the secret herbs and spices come in close contact with the meat.

Chibugan

The word Chibugan is commonly use by Filipinos when it is time to eat. Food is one of our basic needs but among Filipinos it is also one way of having a good time. It is impossible for us to celebrate fiestas, birthdays, promotions etc. without Chibug. We Filipinos are food lovers and it is very obvious since we can find foods in every corner of our streets.. But we cannot also deny the fact that the most delicious and tempting Filipino dishes are loaded with fats and cholesterol.. And so, this blog is for the people out there who are brave enough to risk its health to have a mouthful satisfaction ;)
